You will be able to earn MMR by participating in League Events.
Our badminton app uses the dynamic and real-time ELO rating system to reflect your true skill level. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, your rating adjusts after each match based on your performance and your opponent’s rating. Beat higher-ranked players to climb faster, or defend your rating by staying consistent. It’s a fair and exciting way to track your progress and compete with others, motivating you to improve with every game.
With the ELO system, every match counts, offering a balanced and competitive way to track your progress and skill level.
Earning Points: You gain more points when you win against players with higher ratings. The larger the gap between your rating and your opponent’s, the more you stand to gain from an upset victory. Winning against similarly rated or lower-rated opponents still earns points, but at a slower rate.
Losing Points: If you lose to a higher-rated opponent, you won’t lose many points, as the match was expected to be challenging. However, losing to a lower-rated player will deduct more points since you were predicted to win. The closer the match, the more precise the point changes, making every game impactful.
Finals: To make events even more rewarding, the top 4 placements from an event will earn additional MMR:
1st place: 50 MMR
2nd place: 25 MMR
3rd place: 12 MMR
4th place: 6 PR MMR
